Lyn Matthew
Lyn was born and raised in Southern California. Her first love has always been drawing, painting and teaching. She painted her first store window with Christmas murals in high school and it was about that time she began to teach sewing to 10-12 year old girls through the 4-H Club program. Lyn taught in the public school system for five years and since that time has continued to teach in the college system. She created a class called Art Marketing, teaching the business aspects of art to students in the Community College System more than two decades ago and continues to teach that class and offer guidance to those wishing to make a living from making art. Lyn also offers workshops for therapists aspiring to set up their own business. Her background includes experience as an art editor for a magazine, art publicist, sales and marketing director for several hotels and leadership in professional and community organization. Lyn also teaches ongoing private and group classes in sketching and painting. She paints weekly in her Flagstaff studio. View her artwork at lynmatthew.com
